A pair of 19th century Louis XV chairs.  Displaying carved walnut giltwood frames that have worn beautifully over the years  - featuring shaped padded backs and seats within foliate carved frames and shell decoration throught.  
 
Upholstered in an early 20th-century velvet and silk baroque fabric, raised on cabriole legs terminating on hoof feet - displaying some signs of repairs.
