A 19th-century Italian candle lantern, these lanterns are sold singularly but are part of a larger array of identical lanterns, as featured in the images. These lanterns still feature their original deep green paintwork that has faded and rusted while retaining a soft and warm patina that has formed over the years - each still maintaining a richness which is often lost in modern day copies. Each lantern houses a functioning hinged door which when open enables you to fill the desired space with a candle. These lanterns each display four exposed sides which have been fitted with glass panels - all of which have been reinforced with a pair of crossed metal straps, that when the candle is lit, the light casts a unique and minimalistic shadow.
