A Brazilian rosewood and inlaid sideboard/credenza.
Featuring four frieze drawers all of which have been subtly inlaid with repetitive mistletoe decoration. The far left-hand side drawer is lined with green felt and sectioned into four equal sized compartments with a further horizontal rear compartment. Sideboards were initially designed as part of a set with a dining table and chairs of the dining room, hence this drawer pairs itself well to demonstrating its original use of housing cutlery.
Featured on the lower left-hand side of this sideboard is a pair of double cupboard doors that when open expose an internal shelf. Located to the lower right-hand side is the addition of a sliding door housing a bespoke compartment and removable tray.
This sideboard is raised on two-tone tapering legs, all of which slightly splay outwards, adding a sense of detail to the well known minimalistic Danish design. Due to this sideboard being veneered in an Annex A species (Brazilian rosewood) this sideboard does come with article 10 paperwork.
