A really beautiful example of a brass tazza with two Vienna cold painted parakeets perched side by side.  Both birds are very life-like and show good detail.  
 
 
 
A great and interesting talking point in any room or table centre. Made from solid Brass featuring two very delicate cold painted bronze parakeets.  Both birds are in lovely condition showing minimal signs of wear to the paint but of course these are not perfect and are not without defects mainly due to due to their age.   
 
 
 
To the base there is an inscription stating not only the date as 1881 but also acknowledgement to a NICC sports team.
 
 
 
The tazza itself has a few marks on the base and top of the dish where surface pitting has effected some parts on the brass which I have hi-lighted in the images.  
 
 
 
There is a slight 'tilt' to the over-all dish, which again I have also tried to hi-light in the images but this does not effect the overall look especially if it will be used for display purposes such as a nice floral centre piece or for a general food display.  
 
 
 
A nice floral display using the green 'oasis' found on-line or any florist could set someones table apart with a dramatic display of a cascading floral arrangement.  Place a tantalising display of cakes or biscuits or simply a whole cake would also give a wonderful display to any table.
